Yes, its not fair that they get the BMP now, but then again im going to say the same thing i said against selling it again LIFES UNFAIR. I knew the BMP would be offered again and im not extremely upset. Anet needs money and this is a great way, in fact this was very smart for them since it will bring quite a bit of money to them. New players who saw the new skins and such will jump on it, nearly everyone will have the BMP and ANET can work on making the rest og GW more fun with the money they get.

I don't see what your crying about, so the rest of us get it. you had it for 2 months before the rest of us, and dont use the excuse that we got the box, who cares, if you had the box it would just be collecting dust like our box. And personally I would rather spend my own money then use a credit company and have to pay them back double later. >.>

Anet is likely to do a lot of stuff in the next 12-24 months to keep the community happy and will impliment a lot of things we have asked for, just do do it! This is just the first of many. |

If you did the promotion then quit complaining thats 10$ you never had to spend and never will have to spend. If you want to bitch about something then bitch about why Anet isn't offering the EotN box for 10$. That is the ONLY thing you are truly out. And thats assuming you wouldn't of bought it online anyways.

Well I cba reading this whole thread so here is my opinion:
1. I played for eotn from a retail store as I like having the casing (I always loved the care that goes into a guild wars game manual etc.) and I payed more than I would have if I were to buy it form the in-game store (only like 50 pence more) and I lost out on the Bonus Mission pack. This didn't bother me as I am not a hardcore lore fan, I do like the lore but would prefer to have the physical item. 2. You sacrificed the right to have the physical item by buying form the in-game store. EVERY business I know about is out there to make money, If they can make money by selling the BMP then why shouldn't they? 3. Anet/NCSoft NEVER said that the BMP would be exclusive, just that it would be a free edition, they never stated it would be released at a later date or anything like that. So to sum up, Stop QQ'ing over a something you did (Buying from the in-game store) and start pew pew'ing in the satisfaction that you got the BMP a lot sooner than those who want the physical item. Oh, and before anyone asks, I WILL be buying it from my local game store and laughing at EVERYONE who complains about not getting a physical item. Next-time use your brain. |

GWEN wasnt much of a "thank you" from Anet, and the BMP will make up for it IMO to a small extent. But its just not far to hold back the weapons from people just because they didnt purchase the BMP during the promotion. Thats purely spite and makes no sense! The BMP is one product. You cant pull it apart and give bits to some and not to the rest, otherwise your giving a non-complete product to some customers and a full one to the rest. Its just unfair and not a good PR move. People who acted on it by supporting the company before it was even released, trusting ANET did a great job with it should be rewarded. Why do all the people who didn't have their full trust get to purchase it, and for 10 USD nonetheless. Shame I say! You didn't put your confidence in ANET to make it worth acting on during the promotion. Well I say, you snooze, you lose. Guess ANET doesn't have respect for those that support them even without evidence.

The collectors editions were just that, not promotions, and if it really does bug you if you look hard enough you can still find them in the vast realms of the interweb. |
